day 1 - Wednesday 28 July 2010 Opening of the 2010 CCaM Crop Circle Expedition |
| After a long travel, we will all be welcomed in the Alexandra Hotel just north of Marlborough, England. After checking in, we will enjoy a dinner. During (and after) this dinner we will get better acquainted with each other. Who is in the group? What motivated you to come on this expedition? Before retiring for the night, we will hand out two items; a map of Wiltshire so you can keep track of your 2010 Crop Circle Expedition, and a journal so you can write down all the magic and phenomenon you encounter on a moment by moment basis. | |||||||||||
day 2 - Thursday 29 July 2010 After a traditional English breakfast, Bert Janssen, will introduce the landscape of Wiltshire to you. Where is what and what is the history of all these places. |
After that we will visit Avebury, where we will experience first hand the magical force of this 5000 year old stone circle. There is a saying that if Stonehenge is a church, then Avebury is a cathedral. |
| We will touch, feel, smell the standing stones of the Stone Avenue. We will explore the church of Avebury and have a look inside the Henge Shop. A visit to Silbury Hill and the Sanctuary will conclude the afternoon. | |||||||||||
| In the evening we will enjoy a fascinating guest lecture of one of the top crop circle researchers such as Michael Glickman, Janet Ossebaard, Andreas Müller, Eva Brekkestö, Bearcloud, etc. | |||||||||||
day 3 - Friday 30 July 2010 After the lecture of the previous evening you want to see the real thing, so this will be a 100% crop circle day. We will visit as many brand new crop circles as possible, all under the guidance of seasoned researcher Bert Janssen. |
| During this exciting field day everything can happen. From meeting other researchers, finding strange anomalies to filming luminosities (balls of light). Be prepared – don’t forget your camera! | |||||||||||
| In the evening, after dinner, we will do a ‘night-watch’ at one of the hotspots of Wiltshire. This means we will go to a place where there is a good chance you will watch balls of light in action or other unexplainable phenomenon. During our night watch, we will attempt to speak to the circle makers and suggest a crop circle design. | |||||||||||
day 4 - Saturday 31 July 2010 Salisbury is our destination for today. On the way to Salisbury we will visit Woodhenge, which served during the Bronze Age as a similar function to Stonehenge. |
In 2008 Salisbury celebrated the
750th anniversary of the consecration of the completed Cathedral in
1258. The right time to be there and pay this magnificent Cathedral a
visit. We will also go to St Thomas Church, a real treasure full of ancient symbolism. |
| In the evening, we will be welcomed into the Stonehenge circle. In today’s world it is not possible to enter Stonehenge. However, Sacred Space Expeditions, has organized a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to enter the sacred circle of Stonehenge. We will be able to touch, feel, and commune with the ancients that built this sacred site. | |||||||||||
day 5 - Sunday 1 August 2010 Adam’s Grave, Giants Grave, Knap Hill, Golden Ball Hill, Milkhill, Woodborough Hill are all famous hills in Wiltshire. |
| Today we will see them all and some of them we will climb. By then Bert Janssen has showed us balls of light that were filmed during daytime, and now we will visit the actual spots in these films. We’ll take still pictures of these balls of lights with us which will help us to resonate with these events. We will take our expedition to Milkhill where, Steve Alexander, filmed a bright object hovering over a field. This object was also witnessed by a farmer working in an adjacent field. Then on to Barbury Castle where, Donald Fletcher, filmed balls of light flying over and interacting with a crop circle. And of course, Oliver’s Castle where, John Wayleigh, filmed the forming, in seconds, of a crop circle by balls of light. | |||||||||||
| In the end of the afternoon we will visit the Mound in Marlborough. The place where Merlin the Great Magician was buried. Hence the name Marlborough, which used to be Merl’s Barrow, the grave of Merlin. If weather and time permits, we will do a Shamanic journey to meet Merlin. | |||||||||||
day 6 - Monday 2 August 2010 Today we travel to Somerset, to Glastonbury on the ancient Isle of Avalon. There we will visit St Paul’s Church with the stained-glass window of Joseph of Arimathæa, (the uncle of Jesus), who came to Glastonbury together with Jesus when Jesus was still a young boy. |
| We will climb the Tor and do a Shamanic journey with Heather into the inner earth beneath the Tor. This is a magical hill of wisdom and power where the Michael and Mary ley lines circumnavigate each other. The lore says that the Tor conceals the entrance to other worlds and dimensions. | |||||||||||
| We will explore the Abbey on which grounds the first Christian church of Western Europe was founded and where King Arthur lays buried. After the Abbey, we will experience the mystical qualities of Chalice Well and its gardens. Rumour has it that the Holy Grail lays hidden in this well. It will be up to each of you to track if this is true! In between there will be time to explore the intriguing shops of Glastonbury which contribute to the mystery of the town, which some call the New Jerusalem. | |||||||||||
day 7 - Tuesday 3 August 2010 Today we will spend the whole day visiting crop circles. New ones, old ones, our favourite ones. |
Tonight we will have our closing dinner in
Marlborough and spend time celebrating all the magic and mysticism of
the last few days. You will be filled with many more questions than when
you started this expedition. Let us remember the brilliant words of Rainer Maria Rilke, “live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer…” |
